Chrono Trigger inducted into Gamespots Greatest Games

Recently Gamespot inducted Chrono Trigger into there 'Greatest Games of All Time'. This is obviously well deserved of the excellent title that released on the SNES in 1995. I personally played through most of the game, only to have all my data erase at Lavos (Last boss), but thats another story. You can read the full write up [here]. If you haven't played the game, and you are a RPG fan this is a must play.

The other thing I would like to mention is the Chrono Resurection project, which was a project in which numourous people were recreating the world of Chrono Trigger in a completly 3D enviroment. Not only, does it look spectacular graphically for homebrew development, but the developers hit the nail straight on the head when creating the 3D world. It looks exact, both in architecture and the art style compared to what was found in the original. Sadly Square Enix issued a Cease and Desist letter, which forced the project to come to a hault once and for all. I greatly encourage that you take a look at there work, seeing I think it is quite astonishing, and worth the view. In my opinion, this is the definitely some of the best homebrew on the net, its just amazing. You can also download a trailer of the site, which shows some actually in game.

Check it out [here]
