Recently aqquired new replacement mic

Well, recently my Xbox 360 mic busted, and I called to get a replacement sent. They sent one without any trouble, and I recieved it a couple of days ago. For some reason I have always had bad luck with mics in general. My first original Xbox mic busted, then my second, and now I have a third one, not to mention my other 360 headset, and PC headset.
