The PS3 controller not so new and revolutionary

The two videos above, show case a PSOne controller with sensing technology, that was released back in 1999. Guess what, it even supports force feedback. Wow, thats interesting, considering that Sony has stated that the upcoming PS3 controller will not support force feedback. The reason, they supplied, was that the force feedback would disrupt the sensing technology. I don't know about you, but I smell bull shit. I have no experience when it comes to designing a controller, or anything of the sort, but why would a controller made in 1999 be able to support something that Sony cannot overtake today, in 2006. It really gets me thinking as to how much of the truth Sony are releasing to its faithful fans. Decide for yourself.
