Splinter Cell, stealth action at its finest

Splinter Cell has always been one of my favorites, ever since I picked up Splinter Cell 2: Pandora Tomorrow. I picked Pandora Tomorrow up, a couple of summers ago. And let me tell you, thats all I did all summer. Me and my friend, who recently moved away, would play for hours and hours. In fact I put literally 1000 hours into the game, dispite the glitchers, that actually made the game a lot more fun. Adding a sense of danger, and unpredictibility.

When I picked up Splinter Cell 3: Chaos Theory at launch, I instantly again fell in love with the game. I played on XBL a fair bit, not as much as Pandora Tomorrow, because I felt Pandora Tomorrow was a better game, but still enough to certify its greatness. The single player in Chaos Theory was much better than the previous Splinter Cell single player found in Pandora Tomorrow. It was less linear, and overall just better.

Now Splinter Cell 4: Double Agent is going to release this upcoming fall (release date is subject to change), and again I find myself excited. For one thing, the graphics are going to mind blowing, considering how good Chaos Theory looked on a Xbox. Even the original Xbox screenshots that Ubisoft has released for the upcoming title look amazing, the Xbox 360 is going to blow this thing out of the water, or so I hope. But graphics is only a small portion, to the apeal this game provides. There is something about the multiplayer that just gets me, possibly the fact that its a 2vs2 battle, not a big 16 player brawl, which is not applicable to this game. Ubisoft this time around are bringing in a 3vs3 mode; however, its not going to come close to the more strategic, and traditional 2vs2.
