Oblivion, RPG raised to new heights

I have always been a fan of the Elder Scrolls series ever since I played Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. It completely sucked me in from the very start, I just couldn't put it down, thats proably why I poured hours and hours into the game. What is so great about the Elder Scrolls series? Well, its quite possibly the most open ended RPG that has been ever crafted, and proably that ever will. The greatness of the series just eludes me. Anyways, i'll stop rambling and start with Oblivion.

What makes Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion so good? Well, everything to be accurate, right down to every last hair in the game. The leveling system is by far the most unqiue, and well rounded system ever created. The graphics are just mind blowing, and pull you in to the game. The physics engine is amazing as well, and don't get me started about the radient A.I. Thats for another day. Compared to the previous titles the combat system is so much better. Its just such a good game, I can't even descibe its greatness in words.

Anyways, this is just a small portion of what I have to say about the game, and eventually I will stick up a review. I have put in 20+ hours, and if I were to give it a rating I would score it a 9.5+, its that good. The only problem is the slight FPS lag, which is quite understandable in such a large game.

I trudge onwards to play more Oblivion...
