gSpace, An Awesome Firefox Extension
For all you Firefox guru's out there, this might be a great extension to add to your ever growing library. This is a great little addon that my friend, Grog140, mentioned to me. And let me tell you, it is a excellent little extension. This addon allows you to use Gmail, Google's email service, as a online storage safe. Why use this instead of sending the files manually to yourself? Well, for one thing this extension is optimized for fast delievery of the files, and for another thing it makes going through directories on your computer a lot easier. For all you Internet Explorer users, I urge you to give Firefox a chance. I know change is sometimes hard; however, I am sure you will be pleased with Firefox, or maybe not. There is only one way to figure it out. Try it!
What does gSpace offer?
This extension allows you to use your Gmail Space (2 GB) for file storage. It acts as a remote machine. You can transfer files between your hard drive and gmail. This is similar to "Gmail Drive" on windows platform. Your gmail account looks like a FTP host and you can upload and download your files. After you install, you get an option called "GSpace" in your "tools" menu clicking on which opens the window for transfer of files/folders
